JUNE CHOICE RESULTS: DENIAL
The Serpent has been dismissed, and the skies of both the ON and OFF world clear up with it. Players will breathe easy this month, and any lingering fatigue from the smoke will fade. Injuries no longer carry back and forth between travel, however…
Something of the Serpent remains. When a character experiences negative feelings, particularly guilt or despondency, their greatest regret will appear as a glimmering, silver tattoo on their skin, visible even through clothing and armor. This regret can manifest as an image or a string of text, and cannot be concealed by any spells at their disposal.
LIMITED EVENT REWARDS
The results are in for Guild Wars! With one team coming in at a narrow victory (and a tie!!), everyone will receive the following:
Crafters, Warriors, Scholars: 1 token, and a moon medallion, which can be spent to magically generate a scene from canon around the user. It bursts into silver sparkles after.
Menders, Wanderers: 2 tokens, and a sun medallion, which functions the same as a silver medallion but like, even shinier!
The results are in for Guild Wars! With one team coming in at a narrow victory (and a tie!!), everyone will receive the following:
ON WORLD: TROUBLESHOOTING
Given the extent of glitching last month and server overload from Guild Wars, maintenance messages pop up constantly whenever characters attempt to log onto Duocaeli. Players will be able to access the server only sporadically, and find themselves booted out after a few hours. Unfortunately, their inability to access the game will not stop regular side effects from occurring—even with ongoing maintenance: their devices will start to ping them, prompting and sending them friendly reminders to log in, eagerly informing them of outdated events in Duocaeli. Characters will gradually experience intense nausea, dizziness, and amnesia; they may even log in while they're sleeping! Only to be booted out again by maintenance hell.
OFF WORLD: BAELIAL WORLD GRAND REOPENING
Baelial World has now been revamped after months of repairs and rebuilding. Nestled on the outskirts of the city, it’s said to be a destination that requires three days to fully explore, each day devoted to a separate attraction: its zoo and aquarium, Free! Baelial; Baechella, a festival venue constantly booked by overseas and local acts; and last but not least, the amusement park that comprises the majority of the area, and of which the attraction itself is often referred to: Baelial World.
Somewhere within Baelial World, players will find two enormous mirrors. Both are plainly magical, standing out against the dark and gloom, and offering travelers a choice in a whispery voice.
"Choose a value: Peace, or Justice?"
The Choice is Yours. Players must submit their Choice to this toplevel by Monday, July 31st at 8:55 PM PST/11:55 PM EST. For a Choice to count for IC consequences and rewards, players must submit a thread of at least 3 comments interacting with the Event Domain.
GENERAL UPDATES
Characters can now submit guild change requests! Please note a guild change may only occur once every three (3) months minimum.
In addition, tokens earned from major objectives (e.g. Monthly Choices) may now be exchanged for rewards.

Looking for:- i really really really want to do chamber 1 and make him a vampire. 🥺 only taking one other character to do this with!

- someone should get trapped in the immersive experience at the zooquarium. when he sees them he will turn around and leave. but it'll be funny
- he'll be actively investigating at night! you can join if you don't annoy him or make things harder/more complicated than they need to be.... or you can do that anyway
- fraidy cats! he would be that one guy at halloween horror nights that isn't scared by anything so everyone else hides behind him. use him as your shield.
- if anyone wants to fight, he's definitely choosing the silver mirror in chamber 2
- he'll go against the (closes eyes) boss with one or two other characters, but they need to be age 20+ if horniness gets involved. totally open to it though!
- i haven't gotten to play out the mana mechanic! i'm good to do this in the boss battle or outside of it. we can plot smth out!

- The last of his memories are returning! They'll leave him with a slew of negative emotions that constantly trigger the silver tattoo, which will probably contain spoilers for chapter 17 of his canon.
- Did you know that Roland's placeholder name during development was Justice? Naturally, he'll choose the gold mirror.
- Barring unexpected developments, he'll transfer to the Warriors Guild by the end of the month.
Looking for:- Tattoo bonding - Putting his own aside, he's more than happy to lend an ear to those who want to talk about their regrets. Please give him the lore against the inappropriate backdrop of Baelial World.
- Mirror debate - He will dig his heels in for justice, but he likes both options and will respectfully agree to disagree on peace unless he loses his restraint in the ensuing boss battle, at which point he'll become very headstrong. Anyone who agrees with him is welcome, too, which segues to the below.
- Dungeon shenanigans - Tangentially, I'm down for him to fret over a party member with vampirism (and be useless, because he's most familiar with dark and fire magic) and to futz around with the boss' mechanics.

Plans: Fukawa is pretty suspicious of how the online world bled into "reality" last time, and while she isn't adept at magic bullshit she's very adept at conspiracy. Help her put on her tinfoil hat and get to the bottom of this scooby doo ass mystery.
Other than that she will be hissing and scuttling through the shadows, absolutely loathing the circus vibes and screaming incoherently once the silent hill aesthetic rolls in.
Also while Fukawa's getting slightly more confident in embracing her horrible alter, Genocider Syo is getting a bit bored :\ We shall see where the wind blows there, we may need an eventual shounen protag intervention to remind her of FRIENDSHIP. Maybe not this event tho
