ON WORLD: PRINCESS PARADE

Well well well, what do we have here? It seems like Avisle has become something of a new fancy tourist destination for some visiting royalty. Countless airships come and go each day, bringing with them an assortment of… princesses? Oh! It seems like some grand miss in a faraway land is hosting a slumber party, and Avisle is a lovely resting destination for those making the journey.

What kind of hustle and bustle will that bring to the area? Look forward to more details tomorrow! For now, know that the event domain will involve escorting a young princess.

Meet Princess Andalina Quartzrosen Pili Majesteria the Third. In the final installment of the Event Domain, characters must decide whether she will live or die.

Andalina is a young girl of 17 years old, the sole member of a ruling family presiding over the small kingdom of Majesteria (population: 550). Over the course of her life, her family has fallen ill to the harsh climate of her country, and passed away one by one, leaving only her. Even so, she is the pride and joy of her lands, beloved by her people as she endeavors to make public works. Improving their lives is her greatest priority. While lonely, she works hard and truly believes in the future of her people. She is set to be named Queen next month on her 18th birthday.

However, Andalina is not without blood on her hands. Last year, she waged war on a neighboring kingdom to gain access to their resources and some very bountiful mines. She was victorious… if one could truly call it that. Her directions were ruthless, leading to a massacre of the enemy and devastation to their population, killing over half of their citizens, including women and children. In a final act of spite, the fallen kingdom detonated all of their mine shafts, leaving only rubble. So you might ask: what did she truly win?

Her life is in the hands of those who enter the Domain. Will you protect this monarch-to-be, keeping the hope of her kingdom alive? Or will you get revenge against this despot, preventing her from causing further atrocities?

The Choice is Yours.

Players must submit their Choice to this toplevel by Friday, March 17th at 3 PM PST/6 PM EST. For a Choice to count for IC consequences and rewards, players must submit a thread of at least 3 comments interacting with the Event Domain.

OFF WORLD: WHITE DAY DATE AUCTION

Haha wow, anyway, White Day is coming! The fluffy princess energy carries over in the OFF world as Crane City truly loves the holiday, given the pure and snow white featherings of its namesake. Dodo, like the rest of the citizens of this lovely little town, is ready to get into the spirit!

Which brings us to the inaugural Dodo’s Doki Doki Date Auction! Kyaaa. ♥ Residents of Dodo will all be invited and heavily encouraged to attend the event (see: you will not be able to leave! talk about house arrest!) and pursue their doki doki dreams. In order to help make this event a success, please help us crowdsource blurbs for all date candidates! (Blurb submissions go live Monday, February 27th.) Players may also sign up their characters for randomized date pairings, just for fun.

We ask all players to only pick one character to sign up for the Date Auction. For players who have more than one, we ask that you specify at this Opt Out Top-Level which of your characters you’d like for us to keep. If you don’t specify, we will pick at random for you! Players who do not want their character involved in the Date Auction may also comment. No explanation necessary, just let us know!

GUIDELINES

Players may submit a Choice response for each character they play, and earn rewards for each. Players must make a decision between available Choice options, custom responses will not be considered.

REWARDS: All characters who submit a Choice response will earn one Event Token that they can cash in for custom rewards (i.e. power talismans, limited-use curses, familiars) as well as one Limited Reward based on the Choice they made.

Buzen will lean toward Protecting, but if someone in his group feels extremely strongly about a decision, he will do whatever they want. sometimes you are a weapon first and foremost, and a tool for others to fulfill their intentions. and i think that would be very fun to play with either way. please see my Looking For section for an itch i would like to scratch...

other than that, he'll probably be spending his time bossed around by princesses and having no idea what the date auction is for! :) he's not even sure what a date is? (knocks on his skull and listens to the echo)

» clenches fist. okay drama. i would like buzen to get very badly injured in the final dungeon protecting someone. regardless of whether they choose to protect the princess or let her die, i think something is ingrained in him to end up shielding someone at the cost of himself. unfortunately i think he would do this for literally anyone, even a virtual stranger, if anyone would like to kickstart our cr very hard and fast. buzen would do this (closes eyes) countless times but i think i have the bandwidth to thread it 3 times to start, and then we'll see!!

ANYWAY for on world shenans, matsui will also be leaning toward protect! albeit with a lot of mixed feelings because sometimes you just feel a type of way about people who would kill huge swaths of innocents to reach their goals. it will not be hard to convince him to the other side if that's your bag, he's also a sword who's just here to serve.

Plans: His decision as regards the royal will depend on the specifics of what goes down in the escort mission. He'll have his opinions and tentatively lean toward protection, but will be open to discussion.

As for the date auction, he'll just go with the flow and be cordial if anyone wants to hang out.

Outside of that, he's been training and practicing magic on the side, and also experiencing the wonders of salted food as much as his diminished appetite has allowed. He arrived malnourished and looks better now than he did then. Roland is active in both the ON and OFF worlds, because he thinks it's better to gain experience in lieu of spiraling alone in his room. Sometimes he can be seen interacting with NPCs with a cheerful mien that's nothing like his mild disposition around PCs and more like his AU persona.

In general, he's a monk whose job is to help however he can, so he'll always be available to do somebody a favor with minimal judgment.

Plans: lmao... Mithos has lots of great experiences with resource-hungry monarchs in the past, so sorry the sweet looking fourteen year old is gonna vote for The Killening (TM) without mercy. Blood for the blood god! He won't be shy about this choice with anyone who's with him, but he also doesn't care enough to put that much effort into convincing people otherwise if they feel like protecting her.

Besides that, he's still reeling from his twenty million pounds of baggage and the additional crap that being here dumped on him, so he's totally vibing and pretending not to exist. He will put in one (1) effort into doing things, because even being dead inside doesn't stop the curiosity he's got buried deep deep deep down.

- Princess Things! if anyone does want someone who will go apathetically unhinged Miss Andelina McMurderson, Mithos is here! Mithos will also, despite his passive aggressive comments, actually be curious about anyone who does choose to spare her, because if he was in a better spot he would've liked to choose that too. However, he has zero trusts to give. :')
- Non-humans and... humans. Mithos has complicated feelings re: humans, so if anyone wants mildly uncomfortable, awkward CR right off the bat Mithos is Also Here. Non-humans will also get awkward Mithos, but he won't be as easily aggravated by their very existence.

Plans: Rutile is all for Protect. Unlike Mithos, he'll try to defend this choice! Everyone deserves a second chance, even if they did some... questionable things...... He knows lots of questionable people okay stares at his hands and the fact one of his friends took over the world once

He's much more outgoing than Mithos (this is not an accomplishment) so if you want someone who will drag your character to do things or just be a general friendship mosquito here he is. As for what he's been up to... generally trying to get used to things in both the ON and OFF world, and picking things up earnestly! Him sweating at school like what is haPPENING,

- ON world stuff! Rutile will be much nicer than Mithos re: the escort mission. He's also a teacher back home so it'd be warm just to get him to try to teach people to use magic and stuff... i'm sorry he's touchy when he's using healing magic this is just a funny fact

In the OFF world, I'll be signing her up for the date auction because she's never been on a date (she usually lives in a phone) and she would be very excited but then of course someone would probably have to explain to her what a date actually consists of and she'd take it Very Seriously. Obviously there's a very very low chance of it being romantic because a.) she is pretty much a teenager and b.) she is very much an AI.
