Canon: Original (Blades in the Dark); Rich Nobleman Twink with a posh accent who's unwittingly a half-demon, wittingly a huge nerd, a tinkerer inventor alchemist, into science anything. From a densely packed Victorian-Industrial city where the sun is broken and ghosts and demons are commonplace. Soft, means well, tries to do good, prideful, very supportive malewife friend, but also very poncy, sassy and nervous. Verbose as hell. High Int Low Wis kind of character. Enjoys doing crimes with his smuggler friends for fun and sometimes profit. Feeds off validation; pat him on the head and tell him he's a good boy and he'll melt in your hands. Bricks is extremely easy to bully. Has a drug vice.
AU Plotting Post Link: link; pseudo-Victorian British old money rich kid, inventor, student, huge nerd, runs an unhinged Duotube channel when he's bored.
Dodo Suite: Swallow Suite! That's with Kaveh, Kaito Nagano & Roland Glenbrook.
Guild / Element: Crafting / Fire
Plans: He's still getting settled but adapting to the technology easily and with all the excitement of someone who has all the buttons he'd ever want to push now. This world is also a lot more bright and less horror-filled than his canon one. I'd love to continue have him meet and greet people! He has an open log right over hereeee, anyone is welcome to crash. Long term plan might include him realizing he's very lonely and he needs to focus on Getting The Wish if he wants to see them or get home again, but for now he's easily distracted by everyone and everything in Duo. Or just hang out and get high with him if that's your thing.
Looking for: ANYTHING GOES he's friendly and optimistic enough, very curious, gets along well with most types. We can build off AU relationships or bounce off canon memories more, whatever feels more interesting as a point of relation. ~Social calls~ slash dates are always easy situations to throw him in. I'm a sucker for ships and he's extremely easy to fluster. Nerd Crafting Jams are also great; he treats the ON World more like a giant experimental sandbox to see what kinds of spell limits he can push... and also very desperately wants to get into the Scholars Guild but keeps missing sign ups and deadlines. Intra-guild and Cross-guild CR sounds fun! If someone wants to drag him around to do Quests slash he realizes he sometimes needs to actually play the game to get more toys for the sandbox, I'm also very into that.

OF COURSE I NEED HIM... i kind of love the idea of knives just dragging him along on some in-game quest because it require two people or something. just like "you, over here." then he realizes he's actually kind of useful? wow.

i feel like i am legally obligated to throw V at anyone who is half-demon, unwittingly or otherwise. V's also gonna be in the scholar's guild in case that's an easy ping, too!

oh that could be a nice in! Bricks doesn't fully realize he is half demon/is in some big denial about his mom (despite ironically dressing up like a demon in his avatar) so seeing someone like V who is much more comfortable with the concept might go interesting self-acceptance places for him? Beyond that Bricks is a friendly chatterbox so he'd probably bounce well off V either way cr goes.

V's in a much better place post-canon to talk about half-demon stuff and moms so I think it could definitely be a good way to build cr for sure!! Self-acceptance is a good goal, CAN RECOMMEND

And friendly chatterbox... I'm so glad, V's a little bit of the opposite personality (not unfriendly, but a little more aloof) so it's always fun to bounce him off of more talkative types. I'm excited!

Help? I love Declan? I am absolutely thrilled at the idea of these two being little inventor gremlins. THEY'RE IN THE SAME GUILD AND SAME ELEMENT TOO it's meant to be. I'm game for anything; friends, rivals, besties, flirting, roomie shenanigans. Bricks is also golden retriever energy so he's probably not going to want to be rivals and going to think Declan is just the bees knees.

Traditional magic isn't really a thing where in BitD so seeing how Declan interweaves that with his tech will be extremely fascinating to him. TELL HIM ALL ABOUT IT.
