ON WORLD: PRINCESS PARADE

Well well well, what do we have here? It seems like Avisle has become something of a new fancy tourist destination for some visiting royalty. Countless airships come and go each day, bringing with them an assortment of… princesses? Oh! It seems like some grand miss in a faraway land is hosting a slumber party, and Avisle is a lovely resting destination for those making the journey.

What kind of hustle and bustle will that bring to the area? Look forward to more details tomorrow! For now, know that the event domain will involve escorting a young princess.

Meet Princess Andalina Quartzrosen Pili Majesteria the Third. In the final installment of the Event Domain, characters must decide whether she will live or die.

Andalina is a young girl of 17 years old, the sole member of a ruling family presiding over the small kingdom of Majesteria (population: 550). Over the course of her life, her family has fallen ill to the harsh climate of her country, and passed away one by one, leaving only her. Even so, she is the pride and joy of her lands, beloved by her people as she endeavors to make public works. Improving their lives is her greatest priority. While lonely, she works hard and truly believes in the future of her people. She is set to be named Queen next month on her 18th birthday.

However, Andalina is not without blood on her hands. Last year, she waged war on a neighboring kingdom to gain access to their resources and some very bountiful mines. She was victorious… if one could truly call it that. Her directions were ruthless, leading to a massacre of the enemy and devastation to their population, killing over half of their citizens, including women and children. In a final act of spite, the fallen kingdom detonated all of their mine shafts, leaving only rubble. So you might ask: what did she truly win?

Her life is in the hands of those who enter the Domain. Will you protect this monarch-to-be, keeping the hope of her kingdom alive? Or will you get revenge against this despot, preventing her from causing further atrocities?

The Choice is Yours.

Players must submit their Choice to this toplevel by Friday, March 17th at 3 PM PST/6 PM EST. For a Choice to count for IC consequences and rewards, players must submit a thread of at least 3 comments interacting with the Event Domain.

OFF WORLD: WHITE DAY DATE AUCTION

Haha wow, anyway, White Day is coming! The fluffy princess energy carries over in the OFF world as Crane City truly loves the holiday, given the pure and snow white featherings of its namesake. Dodo, like the rest of the citizens of this lovely little town, is ready to get into the spirit!

Which brings us to the inaugural Dodo’s Doki Doki Date Auction! Kyaaa. ♥ Residents of Dodo will all be invited and heavily encouraged to attend the event (see: you will not be able to leave! talk about house arrest!) and pursue their doki doki dreams. In order to help make this event a success, please help us crowdsource blurbs for all date candidates! (Blurb submissions go live Monday, February 27th.) Players may also sign up their characters for randomized date pairings, just for fun.

We ask all players to only pick one character to sign up for the Date Auction. For players who have more than one, we ask that you specify at this Opt Out Top-Level which of your characters you’d like for us to keep. If you don’t specify, we will pick at random for you! Players who do not want their character involved in the Date Auction may also comment. No explanation necessary, just let us know!

BLOOD GOD: Zagreus will try to ask what the people wants. He's a god of blood, which on the one hand, carnage, but on the other hand, life, so he's going to be very divided here. He feels it's not up to them to decide willy-nilly, the Princess should be trialed fairly. Even Hades had 3 judges to decide where you'd go, please.

(That said, I'm rolling with it; I hope you guys don't mind Zag questioning your character's beliefs or reasoning just for the sake that he's very curious. Obvs let me know if you wish to opt out of this.)

WHITE DAY: He's going to take everything in stride! Need a rescuer? Need an actually fun and wholesome and respectful date in the middle of terrible ones? Would you like to bid on a very roguishly handsome twunk? He's bringing gifts, of course. It's his love language (it may be boozy chocolate).

Looking for:
Boons and Keepsakes: Zagreus has this capability, and I'm slowly incorporating it into the magic. Feel free to gift Zag a boon, or maybe give him a trinket that displays certain buffs (and signifies him climbing up your affinity gauge). They won't be setting-breaking, just fun little things.
Also he's Light and in the Wanderer Guild! Boyo goes Zap.
Dungeon Crawling: He wanders and explores a lot (he may be trying to find answers).
How does one escort another? He's not a psychopomp, he's very confused, please talk to him about it, he's used to "working" alone.
I am not very imaginative (jazz hands) Anything.....

Other: Also, I didn't mention in the plotting comment before, but Zag's AU memories are going to mean... well, that he will be trying to dedicate himself fully to both. Which means he's going to be spreading himself too thin. Someone tell him that isn't exactly healthy. Please.

They should absolutely be Light buddies who go dungeon-crawling, just sayin'

unsure of what I want for the event itself, save for the fact that we've had two threads already where he's had to wrestle her out of self-loathing and into accepting affection and it's time to do other things! (though affection is now on the table always, he's earned it)

BUT I super do love the idea of giving him a keepsake/boon! Likely the former as she is not magic. Danganronpa actually has a gift giving and friendship component so I'm going to appropriate those! The list is here if you want to Ctrl+F these. Fukawa might give him:

- Novelist's Fountain Pen
- Kokeshi Dynamo
- Cherry Blossom Bouquet
- Antique Doll
- ...Glasses.

Effect: With player/mod permission, Zag can perceive one skill/strength/weakness about an enemy before fighting them. OR something else that i must debate about and wouldn't mean infomodding, writer powers hard to translate into combat stats. Maybe something for regular living instead?

And if he ever has the misfortune of meeting Syo, she'd toss him:

- Leaf Covering
- Not game canon that she'd willingly give them away, but a pair of her Custom Scissors :)

Effect: Blood-letting. After Zag's first strike, the victim takes extra damage for three turns/tags. Something small, like Hangover's effect.

HELLO first off ringo has a weird relationship with gods in general so if she ever finds out that he is one i think it'll be hilarious BUT THAT ASIDE

since she's an AI, she's got a really strong divide between her AU memories and real memories, so she could be a good resource for poking him in the forehead and telling him to stop trying so hard for his AU memories, if you want a thread to go that way someday!

love the boons & keepsakes mechanic that's so cool! I'll have to think of something fun for it....(trash treasures...)

weirdly, I think Denji would have a lot of unexpected wisdom in not sinking too fully into the AU memories, if it's something that comes up between them in a thread
