ON WORLD: PRINCESS PARADE

Well well well, what do we have here? It seems like Avisle has become something of a new fancy tourist destination for some visiting royalty. Countless airships come and go each day, bringing with them an assortment of… princesses? Oh! It seems like some grand miss in a faraway land is hosting a slumber party, and Avisle is a lovely resting destination for those making the journey.

What kind of hustle and bustle will that bring to the area? Look forward to more details tomorrow! For now, know that the event domain will involve escorting a young princess.

Meet Princess Andalina Quartzrosen Pili Majesteria the Third. In the final installment of the Event Domain, characters must decide whether she will live or die.

Andalina is a young girl of 17 years old, the sole member of a ruling family presiding over the small kingdom of Majesteria (population: 550). Over the course of her life, her family has fallen ill to the harsh climate of her country, and passed away one by one, leaving only her. Even so, she is the pride and joy of her lands, beloved by her people as she endeavors to make public works. Improving their lives is her greatest priority. While lonely, she works hard and truly believes in the future of her people. She is set to be named Queen next month on her 18th birthday.

However, Andalina is not without blood on her hands. Last year, she waged war on a neighboring kingdom to gain access to their resources and some very bountiful mines. She was victorious… if one could truly call it that. Her directions were ruthless, leading to a massacre of the enemy and devastation to their population, killing over half of their citizens, including women and children. In a final act of spite, the fallen kingdom detonated all of their mine shafts, leaving only rubble. So you might ask: what did she truly win?

Her life is in the hands of those who enter the Domain. Will you protect this monarch-to-be, keeping the hope of her kingdom alive? Or will you get revenge against this despot, preventing her from causing further atrocities?

The Choice is Yours.

Players must submit their Choice to this toplevel by Friday, March 17th at 3 PM PST/6 PM EST. For a Choice to count for IC consequences and rewards, players must submit a thread of at least 3 comments interacting with the Event Domain.

OFF WORLD: WHITE DAY DATE AUCTION

Haha wow, anyway, White Day is coming! The fluffy princess energy carries over in the OFF world as Crane City truly loves the holiday, given the pure and snow white featherings of its namesake. Dodo, like the rest of the citizens of this lovely little town, is ready to get into the spirit!

Which brings us to the inaugural Dodo’s Doki Doki Date Auction! Kyaaa. ♥ Residents of Dodo will all be invited and heavily encouraged to attend the event (see: you will not be able to leave! talk about house arrest!) and pursue their doki doki dreams. In order to help make this event a success, please help us crowdsource blurbs for all date candidates! (Blurb submissions go live Monday, February 27th.) Players may also sign up their characters for randomized date pairings, just for fun.

We ask all players to only pick one character to sign up for the Date Auction. For players who have more than one, we ask that you specify at this Opt Out Top-Level which of your characters you’d like for us to keep. If you don’t specify, we will pick at random for you! Players who do not want their character involved in the Date Auction may also comment. No explanation necessary, just let us know!

Plans: Denji is but a simple lad: this cute girl must be protected. All that other stuff happened to other people, and he'll overlook the various warcrimes for the pretty face and sad story. Since the quest is to protect, he'll protect. Those bigger moral questions don't matter as much to him as immediate need, and so long as the princess wasn't trying to hurt or kill him or those he cares about, he's not going to murder in cold blood and will fight to defend her if someone was trying to kill her for "no good reason". (In fact, Denji's pretty heavily adverse to killing non-combatant humans in general....ironically to the moral question at-hand I suppose)

Aside from that, in the ON world Denji will probably spend his first month grinding out super menial tasks and farming tons of sellable resources--the kinda tutorial stuff that most players do once then go on to more exciting story bits. He stays in the starting city collecting in-game currency until someone tells him he can leave and do other things.

Denji loves a good date! He is practically a date expert at this point having gone on...well at least 2 or 3. He might think that he gets the money for what people bid on him. He will also think that the dates are Serious unless explicitly told otherwise.

Looking for:
ON
- Someone to teach him magic is Real and he can do it (his element is fire) because he did not get to that tutorial quest yet
- Warrior guild buds! He's all about tearing into some mobs of monsters so if you want a DPS/tank just point him at some combat
- Players who need materials/resources/monster parts to fulfill a quest or craft an item, etc...! He'll have so many of everything available around the starting area and probably some rare drops just because of how much grinding he's doing. He'd prefer to sell them, but can be cajoled into accepting trade, favors, or food if someone's nice to him about it.

- I like chill slice-of-life stuff so much y'all so really any kind of thread I am down -- Let Denji Have a Normal, Relaxing Life 2023
- Denji does a bit of dumpster diving, so if your character would have Questions why the trash pickup guy is digging through like a raccoon, or why someone's suspiciously stalking around the back of the grocery store, give him a shout
- Need an odd job done and are paying in money or food? Why not hire this 16 year old who can't text very well and looks more tired than a 16 year old should?
